Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders (Central Valley, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Middletown Middie Bears (Middletown, NY), 56-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Monroe-Woodbury upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Warwick (Warwick, NY) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Warwick lost 46-33 in their recent non-league bout against Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY)

Next up, the Middie Bears play the Kingston Tigers (Kingston, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Middletown will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 9-0 record after their 60-49 non-league win over Albany (Albany, NY).
