Franklin County Bulldogs (Meadville, MS) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Lawrence County Cougars (Monticello, MS), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs confront the Bogue Chitto Bobcats (Bogue Chitto, MS) in a 1A Region 7 challenge, on Friday, January 19. Franklin County will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record.
The Cougars now have a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brookhaven for a non-league challenge on Friday, January 19.
