South Beauregard Knights (Longville, LA) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Washington-Marion Charging Indians (Lake Charles, LA), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Knights confront the DeRidder Dragons (DeRidder, LA) in a Division III District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. South Beauregard will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 8-0 league win over Washington-Marion (Lake Charles, LA).

The Charging Indians now have a 1-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to DeRidder for a Division III District 2 challenge on Saturday, January 20. Washington-Marion will confront a Dragons team coming off a 3-1 league loss to St. Louis Catholic (Lake Charles, LA). The Dragons record now stands at 1-3.
