California High School Basketball - Redwood nips Bakersfield

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Redwood Rangers basketball team scored a close 63-56 win over the Bakersfield Drillers.

The Rangers (13-9) will now prepare for their contest against Clovis East (Clovis, CA). The Timberwolves come into the non-league contest with a 14-6 record. In their last contest, Clovis East edged Clovis (Clovis, CA), 67-48, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Drillers battle the Ridgeview Wolf Pack (Bakersfield, CA) in a South Yosemite - Valley contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Bakersfield will attempt to better on its 14-8 season record. The Wolf Pack come into the contest with a 8-10 record after their 54-30 non-league win over Stockdale (Bakersfield, CA).
