The Bloomsburg Panthers nipped the host Loyalsock Township Lancers basketball squad by a final score of 52-50 in Saturday's league outing.
Next, the Panthers face the Warrior Run Defenders (Turbotville, PA) in a Heartland III outing, on Tuesday, January 21. Bloomsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Defenders enter the outing with a 13-1 record after their 63-35 league win over Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA).
The Lancers (5-9) will now prepare for their outing against Mifflinburg (Mifflinburg, PA). The Wildcats enter the Heartland III outing with a 8-7 record. In their last outing, Mifflinburg got by Hughesville (Hughesville, PA), 45-28, in a league outing.
