The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY) and the host Paris Greyhounds (Paris, KY), observed Bourbon County's basketball team overwhelm Paris by a margin of 78-53.

The Colonels (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Mason County (Maysville, KY). The Royals come into the non-league challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Mason County was trounced by Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY), 93-72, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Greyhounds battle the Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY) in a District 40 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Paris will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 73-47 league loss to George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY).
