Kentucky High School Basketball - South Laurel can't hold off Clay County

Clay County Tigers (Manchester, KY) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY), 63-58 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Clay County upgrades its record to 12-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to North Laurel (London, KY) to face the Jaguars in a District 49 match on Friday, January 24. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 9-6.

The Cardinals now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williamsburg for a District 50 match on Tuesday, January 21.
