Mt. Mansfield Cougars (Jericho, VT) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Colchester Lakers (Colchester, VT), 61-53 in a league match.
With the victory, Mt. Mansfield advances its record to 6-5 on the year. The Cougars travel to Hartford (White River Junction, VT) to face the Hurricanes in a non-league match on Monday, January 20. The Hurricanes enter the match with a record of 8-2. Hartford won 72-36 in their recent league match against Windsor (Windsor, VT)
The Lakers now own a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Burlington for a Metro match on Monday, January 20. Colchester will face a Wolves squad coming off a 42-38 league loss to Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT). The Wolves record now stands at 6-5.
