The Dalton Academy Pumas basketball squad (Dalton, GA), was crushed 67-43 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA)

With the victory, Coosa advances its record to 10-9 on the year. The Eagles host Chattooga (Summerville, GA) to meet the Indians in a A D1 Region 7 battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Indians enter the battle with a record of 15-3. Chattooga won 61-53 in their recent league battle against Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA)

The Pumas now own a 0-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oakwood Christian for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 21. Dalton Academy will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 63-59 non-league win over Praise Academy (Powder Springs, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-10.
