Oklahoma High School Basketball - El Reno nips Memorial

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the El Reno Indians (El Reno, OK) and the visiting Memorial Chargers (Tulsa, OK), observed El Reno's basketball team edge Memorial by a score of 45-43.

The Indians (11-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Elgin (Elgin, OK). The Owls come into the 5A District 1 challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Elgin was tipped by Carl Albert (Midwest City, OK), 82-33, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Chargers battle the Pryor Tigers (Pryor, OK) in a 5A District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Memorial will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 64-42 league loss to Edison (Tulsa, OK).
