Fasman Yeshiva (Skokie, IL) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Ellison Lions (Chicago, IL), 69-65 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Fasman Yeshiva advances its record to 7-5 on the year. The host Wolcott College Prep (Chicago, IL) to face the Wolves in a non-league match on Monday, January 20. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 11-5. Wolcott College Prep won 58-25 in their recent non-league match against Golder (Chicago, IL)
The Lions now own a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holy Trinity for a Chicago Prep match on Friday, January 24. Ellison will face a Tigers squad coming off a 58-49 non-league loss to Southland College Prep (Matteson, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 14-6.
