Maine High School Basketball - Fort Kent holds off Katahdin

The Fort Kent Warriors basketball team scored 79 points and limited the visiting Katahdin Cougars to 72 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Warriors now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Madawaska for a C North game on Tuesday, January 21. Fort Kent will confront a Owls team coming off a 68-9 non-league win over Van Buren (Van Buren, ME). The Owls record now stands at 11-0.
With the loss, Katahdin falls to 10-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 6-6. Fort Fairfield lost 73-57 in their recent non-league game against Central Aroostook (Mars Hill, ME)
