In Saturday's league contest, the host King Panthers basketball team scored a big 81-52 win over the Goose Creek Memorial Patriots.
The Panthers (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against Summer Creek (Houston, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 6A Region III District 23 contest with a 17-10 record. In their last contest, Summer Creek was trounced by Atascocita (Humble, TX), 85-65, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the North Shore Mustangs (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 23 contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Goose Creek Memorial will attempt to better on its 12-16 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 13-15 record after their 45-41 league loss to Kingwood (Kingwood, TX).
