The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Philip Barbour Colts (Philippi, WV) and the visiting Grafton Bearcats (Grafton, WV), observed Philip Barbour's basketball team knock off Grafton by a score of 57-43.

The Colts (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln (Shinnston, WV). The Cougars come into the Big Ten challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln dropped by Liberty (Clarksburg, WV), 48-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bearcats encounter the Elkins Tigers (Elkins, WV) in a Big Ten challenge, on Thursday, January 23. Grafton will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 70-36 non-league loss to Tucker County (Hambleton, WV).
