The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hazen Wildcats (Hardwick, VT) and the host Randolph Ghosts (Randolph, VT), saw Hazen's basketball team nip Randolph by a tally of 62-61.

The Wildcats now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Harwood for a non-league bout on Monday, January 20. Hazen will play a Highlanders team coming off a 56-43 non-league loss to Hazen (Hardwick, VT). The Highlanders record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Randolph falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Ghosts host Lake Region (Orleans, VT) to play the Rangers in a Capital bout on Wednesday, January 22. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Lake Region lost 48-45 in their recent league bout against Peoples Academy (Morrisville, VT)
