With the victory, Savannah Christian advances its record to 9-8 on the year. The Raiders host Toombs County (Lyons, GA) to face the Bulldogs in a A D1 Region 3 match on Tuesday, January 21. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 8-8. Toombs County won 55-44 in their recent non-league match against Telfair County (McRae, GA)

The Matadors now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host First Preparatory Christian Academy for a GIAA A Region 6 match on Friday, January 24. Memorial Day will face a Highlanders squad coming off a 51-47 non-league loss to Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA). The Highlanders record now stands at 8-3.
