The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Nemaha Central Thunder (Seneca, KS) and the host Sabetha Bluejays (Sabetha, KS), observed Nemaha Central's basketball team knock off Sabetha by a score of 42-33.

The Thunder (9-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Rossville (Rossville, KS). The Bulldogs come into the Big East challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Rossville was knocked off by Perry-Lecompton (Perry, KS), 59-49, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bluejays encounter the Paola Panthers (Paola, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Sabetha will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 61-44 league loss to Ottawa (Ottawa, KS).
