The Turner Tornadoes basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host North Star Knights to 29 in the Tornadoes league triumph on Saturday.

The Tornadoes now have a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Chester-Joplin-Inverness for a C District 9 game on Friday, January 24. Turner will confront a Hawks team coming off a 70-31 league win over North Star (Rudyard, MT). The Hawks record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, North Star falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Knights host Box Elder (Box Elder, MT) to confront the Bears in a C District 9 game on Saturday, January 25. The Bears go into the game with a record of 9-0. Box Elder won 84-80 in their recent non-league game against Centerville (Sand Coulee, MT)
