The Sevastopol Pioneers basketball squad (Sturgeon Bay, WI), was nudged 67-60 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Oconto Blue Devils (Oconto, WI)
With the victory, Oconto advances its record to 8-3 on the year. The Blue Devils host Menominee Indian (Keshena, WI) to meet the Eagles in a non-league battle on Monday, January 20. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 6-4.
The Pioneers now own a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peshtigo for a Packerland battle on Friday, January 24. Sevastopol will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 70-46 non-league loss to Menominee (Menominee, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-8.
