In Saturday's league test, the Ware County Gators (Waycross, GA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Warner Robins Demons (Warner Robins, GA), by a score of 60-49.
Next, the Gators encounter the Calvary Christian Knights (Columbus, GA) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 20. Ware County will attempt to improve on its 15-4 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 10-9 record after their 83-47 non-league win over Chambers Academy (LaFayette, AL).
The Demons (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Wayne County (Jesup, GA). The Yellow Jackets come into the AAAA Region 1 test with a 5-13 record. In their last test, Wayne County went down by Benedictine (Savannah, GA), 64-49, in a league test.
