The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Granite Hills Eagles (El Cajon, CA) and the host Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA), observed Granite Hills's basketball team knock off Grossmont by a score of 27-13.

The Eagles (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Clairemont (San Diego, CA). The Chieftains come into the challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Clairemont prevailed over Kearny (San Diego, CA), 58-55, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Foothillers encounter the West Hills Wolf Pack (Santee, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Grossmont will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record.
