The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the St. Edmund Prep Eagles (Brooklyn, NY) and the host Salesian Eagles (New Rochelle, NY), observed St. Edmund Prep's basketball team edge Salesian by a margin of 49-46.

The Eagles (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Monsignor McClancy (Queens, NY). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Monsignor McClancy was tipped by St. John's Prep (Astoria, NY), 50-33, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Regis Raiders (New York, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Salesian will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record.
