Next, the Raiders encounter the Madison Marlins (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 21 test, on Thursday, January 23. Sterling will attempt to improve on its 12-12 season record. The Marlins come into the test with a 1-16 record after their 37-26 league loss to Austin (Houston, TX).

The Mustangs (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Milby (Houston, TX). The Buffs come into the 5A Region III District 21 test with a 6-16 record. In their last test, Milby was knocked off by Westbury (Houston, TX), 50-32, in a league test.
