The Calais Blue Devils basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Orono Riots to 37 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Saturday.

The Blue Devils now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Machias for a C North game on Tuesday, January 21. Calais will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 53-28 non-league win over Schenck (East Millinocket, ME). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Orono falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Riots host Piscataquis (Guilford, ME) to confront the Pirates in a C North game on Thursday, January 23. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 4-8.
