Texas High School Basketball - Cesar E. Chavez overwhelmed by Heights

In Saturday's league test, the Heights Bulldogs (Houston, TX) basketball squad trounced the visiting Cesar E. Chavez Lobos (Houston, TX), by a score of 64-13.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Lamar Consolidated Mustangs (Rosenberg, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 21. Heights will attempt to improve on its 10-13 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 3-22 record after their 33-28 league loss to Fort Bend Marshall (Missouri City, TX).

The Lobos (2-11) will now prepare for their test against Lamar (Houston, TX). The Texans come into the 6A Region III District 18 test with a 11-7 record. In their last test, Lamar bounced Wisdom (Houston, TX), 70-14, in a league test.
