The East Hall Vikings were victorious over the host Gainesville Red Elephants basketball squad by a final score of 55-38 in Saturday's non-league outing.
Next, the Vikings clash with the Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA) in a AAA Region 8 outing, on Friday, January 24. East Hall will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Warriors enter the outing with a 15-5 record after their 56-27 non-league win over Madison County (Danielsville, GA).
The Red Elephants (11-7) will now prepare for their outing against Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA). The Cougars enter the AAAAA Region 7 outing with a 9-10 record. In their last outing, Chattahoochee ran past Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA), 40-32, in a league outing.
