The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Sugar-Salem Diggers (Sugar City, ID) and the visiting Filer Wildcats (Filer, ID), observed Sugar-Salem's basketball team overwhelm Filer by a margin of 75-33.

The Diggers (17-0) will now prepare for their challenge against South Fremont (St. Anthony, ID). The Cougars come into the 4A High Country challenge with a 16-1 record. In their last challenge, South Fremont trounced Ririe (Ririe, ID), 48-47, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Kimberly Bulldogs (Kimberly, ID) in a 4A Southern Idaho challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Filer will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 63-39 league win over Buhl (Buhl, ID).
