In Saturday's league test, the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) basketball squad trounced the visiting Fort Bend Bush Broncos (Richmond, TX), by a score of 79-36.

Next, the Hurricanes encounter the Fort Bend Dulles Vikings (Sugar Land, TX) in a 6A Region III District 21 test, on Tuesday, January 21. Fort Bend Hightower will attempt to improve on its 24-5 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 6-22 record after their 39-36 league win over Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX).
