In Saturday's non-league test, the Vernon Vikings (Vernon, NJ) basketball squad defeated the host High Point Wildcats (Sussex, NJ), by a score of 42-29.
Next, the Vikings clash with the Jefferson Township Falcons (Oak Ridge, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - Freedom test, on Monday, January 20. Vernon will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 9-1 record after their 52-14 league win over High Point (Sussex, NJ).
The Wildcats (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Hackettstown (Hackettstown, NJ). The Tigers come into the Northwest Jersey - Freedom test with a 3-4 record.
