The Rebels (6-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Cottonwood (Cottonwood, AL). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Cottonwood was tipped by Providence Christian (Dothan, AL), 70-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Wicksburg Panthers (Newton, AL) in a 3A Area 3 challenge, on Thursday, January 23. Houston Academy will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 16-7 record after their 43-20 league win over Slocomb (Slocomb, AL).
