West Virginia High School Basketball - Morgantown thwarts Parkersburg

January 18, 2025: Morgantown, WV 26501

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Morgantown Mohigans (Morgantown, WV) and the visiting Parkersburg Big Reds (Parkersburg, WV), observed Morgantown's basketball team knock off Parkersburg by a score of 64-52.

The Mohigans (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV). The Patriots come into the Two Rivers challenge with a 7-3 record.

In their next game, the Big Reds encounter the South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV) in a Mountain State challenge, on Thursday, January 23. Parkersburg will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record.
