In Saturday's league contest, the host North Cobb Christian Eagles basketball team scored a big 68-30 win over the North Murray Mountaineers.
The Eagles (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Bethel Christian Academy (Marietta, GA). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Mt. Bethel Christian Academy was trounced by Galloway (Atlanta, GA), 65-35, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Mountaineers battle the Rockmart Yellowjackets (Rockmart, GA) in a AA Region 7 contest, on Wednesday, January 22. North Murray will attempt to better on its 4-14 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the contest with a 1-17 record after their 50-22 non-league loss to Cedartown (Cedartown, GA).
