Nebraska High School Basketball - Pleasanton triumphant over Sumner-Eddyville-Miller

The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Pleasanton Bulldogs (Pleasanton, NE) and the host Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs (Sumner, NE), observed Pleasanton's basketball team overwhelm Sumner-Eddyville-Miller by a score of 61-33.

The Bulldogs (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Ansley/Litchfield (Ansley, NE). The Spartans come into the D1 District 8 challenge with a 4-10 record. In their last challenge, Ansley/Litchfield was routed by Wilcox-Hildreth (Wilcox, NE), 41-28, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Anselmo-Merna Coyotes (Merna, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Sumner-Eddyville-Miller will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 52-37 league win over Central Valley (Greeley, NE).
