Nevada High School Basketball - Lowry crushes Fernley

January 18, 2025: Winnemucca, NV 89445

The Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV) basketball crushed the visiting Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV), 57-11 in Saturday's league bout.

The Buckaroos now possess a 14-0 record. They play next when they host Spring Creek for a bout on Friday, January 24. Lowry will play a Spartans team coming off a 33-30 non-league loss to Elko (Elko, NV). The Spartans record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Fernley falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Vaqueros host North Valleys (Reno, NV) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 27. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 4-13. North Valleys lost 36-16 in their recent non-league bout against Carson (Carson City, NV)
