The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Ballard Beavers (Seattle, WA) and the host Franklin Quakers (Seattle, WA), observed Ballard's basketball team overwhelm Franklin by a margin of 44-16.

The Beavers (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Ingraham (Seattle, WA). The Rams go into the non-league bout with a 9-3 record. In their last bout, Ingraham crushed Seattle Academy (Seattle, WA), 57-23, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Franklin falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Quakers travel to Highline (Burien, WA) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Highline lost 42-18 in their recent non-league bout against Newport - Bellevue (Bellevue, WA)
