Greene County Wildcats (Leakesville, MS) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Wayne County War Eagles (Waynesboro, MS), 4-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Greene County moves its record to 6-12 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Moss Point (Moss Point, MS) to clash with the Tigers in a 4A Region 8 test on Tuesday, January 21. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 7-8. Moss Point won 5-1 in their recent non-league test against North Forrest (Hattiesburg, MS)

The War Eagles now sport a 1-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gautier for a 5A Region 4 test on Tuesday, January 21. Wayne County will clash with a Gators team coming off a 6-0 league loss to East Central (Moss Point, MS). The Gators record now stands at 7-7.
