The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hyde Phoenix (Bath, ME) and the host Greely Rangers (Cumberland Center, ME), witnessed Hyde's ice hockey team nip Greely by a final score of 2-1.

The Phoenix (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Leavitt (Turner, ME). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Leavitt got by Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME), 5-2, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rangers battle the Brunswick Dragons (Brunswick, ME) in a Class B South challenge, on Monday, January 20. Greely will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 5-1 league loss to Gorham (Gorham, ME).
