La Center Wildcats (La Center, WA) fans went home pleased Saturday as they observed their basketball team overcome the visiting Castle Rock Rockets (Castle Rock, WA), 53-37 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Onalaska (Onalaska, WA). The Loggers come into the non-league challenge with a 12-2 record. In their last challenge, Onalaska defeated Winlock (Winlock, WA), 74-15, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rockets battle the King's Way Christian Knights (Vancouver, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 22. Castle Rock will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 53-38 non-league loss to Columbia (White Salmon, WA).
