Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the South Bison (Cheyenne, WY) and the visiting Central Indians (Cheyenne, WY), saw South's basketball squad hold off Central by a tally of 63-60.
With the victory, South improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Bison travel to East (Cheyenne, WY) to confront the Thunderbirds in a 4A Southeast challenge on Friday, January 21. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a record of 12-1. East won 60-44 in their recent league challenge against Laramie (Laramie, WY)
Next up, the Indians confront the Laramie Plainsmen (Laramie, WY) in a 4A Southeast challenge, on Friday, January 21. Central will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Plainsmen come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 60-44 league loss to East (Cheyenne, WY).
