Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Red Land knocked off by Palmyra

The Palmyra Cougars basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Red Land Patriots to 29 in the Cougars league triumph on Wednesday.
The Cougars now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elizabethtown for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 22. Palmyra will battle a Bears team coming off a 49-47 non-league win over J.P. McCaskey (Lancaster, PA). The Bears record now stands at 11-4.
The Patriots (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, PA). The Wildcats enter the Mid-Penn - Keystone contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Mechanicsburg was defeated by Hershey (Hershey, PA), 60-42, in a league contest.
