The Hillside Comets (Hillside, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Linden Tigers (Linden, NJ), 43-35 in Wednesday's league test.
The Comets (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Scotch Plains-Fanwood went down by West Morris Mendham (Mendham, NJ), 42-37, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Brearley for a non-league test on Thursday, January 20. Linden will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 44-43 non-league loss to Rahway (Rahway, NJ). The Bears record now stands at 3-4.
