The Utica Chieftains basketball team (Utica, MI), dropped 56-39 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders (Macomb, MI)
The Crusaders now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sterling Heights Stevenson for a Freelance battle on Tuesday, January 25. L'Anse Creuse North will confront a Titans team coming off a 52-48 league win over Adams (Rochester, MI). The Titans record now stands at 3-1.
The Chieftains (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI). The Tars come into the Macomb Area - Blue battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Anchor Bay dropped by Utica Ford (Sterling Heights, MI), 55-41, in a league battle.
