North Rangers (Eastlake, OH) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Madison Blue Streaks (Madison, OH), 47-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, North upgrades its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Rangers host Chardon (Chardon, OH) to play the Hilltoppers in a Western Reserve bout on Thursday, January 20. The Hilltoppers come into the bout with a record of 4-8. Chardon lost 58-52 in their recent league bout against Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH)

Next up, the Blue Streaks play the Kenston Bombers (Chagrin Falls, OH) in a Western Reserve bout, on Saturday, January 22. Madison will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Bombers come into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 58-52 league win over Chardon (Chardon, OH).
