North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC), 79-22 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Brunswick upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Scorpions travel to Topsail (Hampstead, NC) to play the Pirates in a bout on Tuesday, January 25. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 3-8.

Next up, the Cougars play the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) in a bout, on Friday, January 21. South Brunswick will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record.
