The Academy Park Knights basketball team (Sharon Hill, PA), was overwhelmed 78-48 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Penn Wood Patriots (Lansdowne, PA)
The Patriots now possess a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chester for a Delaware Valley battle on Tuesday, January 24. Penn Wood will battle a Clippers team coming off a 76-63 non-league loss to William Penn (York, PA). The Clippers record now stands at 9-8.
The Knights (2-11) will now prepare for their battle against Unionville (Kennett Square, PA). The Longhorns come into the non-league battle with a 14-1 record. In their last battle, Unionville trounced Lancaster Mennonite (Lancaster, PA), 66-31, in a non-league battle.
