Echols County Wildcats (Statenville, GA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Aucilla Christian Warriors (Monticello, FL), 55-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Echols County upgrades its record to 4-10 on the season. The Wildcats host Suwannee (Live Oak, FL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-11. Suwannee lost 64-44 in their recent non-league bout against Hilliard (Hilliard, FL)

Next up, the Warriors play the Wakulla Christian School Saints (Crawfordville, FL) in a 1A District 4 bout, on Friday, January 20. Aucilla Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 62-57 non-league win over Tallavana Christian (Havana, FL).
