Barrington Fillies/Broncos (Barrington, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL), 49-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, Barrington upgrades its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Fillies/Broncos host Streamwood (Streamwood, IL) to play the Sabres in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Sabres come into the bout with a record of 0-21. Streamwood lost 61-45 in their recent league bout against Glenbard East (Lombard, IL)

Next up, the Cougars play the Hoffman Estates Hawks (Hoffman Estates, IL) in a Mid-Suburban - West bout, on Thursday, January 26. Conant will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record.
