Kentucky High School Basketball - Rowan County winner over Bath County

In Thursday's league outing, the Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY) basketball squad felled the visiting Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY), by a margin of 69-56.

The Vikings (9-9) will now prepare for their outing against Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Indians go into the non-league outing with a 10-4 record. In their last outing, Montgomery County was beaten by George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY), 85-51, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Estill County for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 21. Bath County will clash with a Engineers squad coming off a 79-55 league win over Owsley County (Booneville, KY). The Engineers record now stands at 13-7.
