Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Covenant Christian Eagles (Tuscumbia, AL) and the host Belgreen Bulldogs (Russellville, AL), saw Covenant Christian's basketball squad overcome Belgreen by a tally of 57-38.

With the victory, Covenant Christian improves its record to 19-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Shoals Christian (Florence, AL) to play the Flame in a 1A Area 16 challenge on Monday, January 23. The Flame come into the challenge with a record of 15-7. Shoals Christian won 50-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Lindsay Lane Christian Academy (Athens, AL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Vina Red Devils (Vina, AL) in a 1A Area 14 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Belgreen will attempt to improve on its 9-13 season record.
