The Camden Catholic Fighting Irish basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Bishop Eustace Prep Crusaders to 43 in the Fighting Irish league victory on Thursday.
The Fighting Irish now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Middle Township for a non-league contest on Sunday, January 22. Camden Catholic will battle a Panthers team coming off a 47-37 non-league loss to Atlantic City (Atlantic City, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 8-6.
The Crusaders (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Shawnee (Medford, NJ). The Renegades go into the non-league bout with a 4-9 record. In their last bout, Shawnee was edged by Burlington Township (Burlington, NJ), 68-53, in a non-league bout.
